A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words...

What a great response to the censureship.  Just show a picture that conveys a similar message.  I must admit I am a converted naysayer.  Originally, I had all kinds of opinions about the album title, but after my delayed purchase of his HIP HOP IS DEAD ALBUM, and hearing the passion, creativity and effort as a serious artist and emcee - I changed teams and began to support the N-word titled album 100%.  Trusting him to bring it.  Again.   And yesterday's studio session...I got a chance to hear some of it":

1. HERO - with a new singer, Keri Hilson...was in a strange way, a tearjerker for me.  The man is passionate...what can I say.

2. BLACK PRESIDENT - this song has excerpts from one of Obama's speech, mixed with Tupac Shakur?!  - I am just speechless.  Its a masterpiece already.

3. FRIED CHICKEN - we all know that Nas is one of the most creative rappers of all time...at least I always knew that since his song REWIND...this song kind of reminds me of the song on the God's Son album where he tells a story from a gun's view, but only in this song...he is comparing fried chicken to women.  At first, as a woman, you wonder...should I be offended? Is he calling us chickenheads...or is this a wierd food fetish?  I love the creativity...who knew frying chicken could be so sexy.

So that's the end of my sneak peak..Of course everything is on YouTube.  The streets can't wait.  This is SO next level...and gives hip-hop its heart back.  Its looking like a great follow-up to Hip-Hop is Dead.
